GGLC COVID-19 EVENT GUIDELINES - REVISED

   GGLC COVID-19 - GENERAL EVENT POLICY AND GUIDELINES

The GGLC is committed to providing events that put participant safety as a number one priority. The GGLC strongly encourages all participants to get vaccinated and boosted. The GGLC reminds all that while the pandemic is waning, it is NOT gone and we all need to continue to be vigilant and take precautions.

GGLC COVID-19 EVENT GUIDELINES

  • All GGLC events will adhere to state & local COVID-19 policies, protocols and requirements. While masks are no longer mandated, the GGLC highly recommends -
  • All GGLC Events
          > Those fully (including boosters) vaccinated can opt to go mask-less and are recommended to social distance.
          > Those un-vaccinated must wear a mask when in car and/or indoors.
  • The GGLC recommends Passengers/Coach not of the same household and are fully vaccinated and boosted are allowed in the same car with masking. Open windows are recommended.
  • An event host can require stricter COVID guidelines which will be clearly stated in event announcements
  • The GGLC will continue to make available COVID-19 prevention supplies to event staff and participants, such as hand sanitizer, disposable face masks and cleaners/disinfectants.
  • Some events will have a limited number of participants and be closed to or limit spectators
  • Event staff and participants are required to stay at home if they are ill or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath. In such an event the GGLC will refund the entry fee.
  • Any participant that falls ill within 2 weeks after the event MUST contact the GGLC and share a description of their symptoms, related test results and movements during the event.
  • The GGLC may limit the sharing beverage coolers, snacks or meals. Participants should bring their own water, food and supplies. Sharing is discouraged.
  • When possible GGLC will utilize online waivers
  • The GGLC will limit the use of loaner helmets at events where helmets are required. It is the responsibility of the participant to bring their own helmets and driver equipment.
