Type of car:      Car color (and number if it has one):

Driving experience (include tracks driven, if desired):
Driving group (circle one): Novice   (little or no track experience)
Intermediate (some track or Solo experience)
Advanced (Racing license or extensive track time. If driving a race        car must wear full driving suite and car must          meet SCCA GCR's as a minimum.)

All cars must pass tech inspection. The minimum requirements are:

.DOT legal tires for street legal cars. Must not show excessive signs of wear and age. (less than 4 years old.)
.Adequate tire pressure. (Generally 10 psi greater than for normal driving on the street. There is no air available at the track.)
.Remove all wheel trim pieces and other items that might come off on the track. This includes spare tire and jacks, etc.
.Battery must be securely mounted. (cars with loose or missing battery mounts will fail  tech!)
.Working brake light.
.Tight wheel bearings and lug nuts. Must have all of the lug nuts. (Recommend open end type otherwise may be required to remove a lug nut to verify minimum safe thread engagement.)
.Working 3-point seat belt harness. (Racing type 5 point is recommended but not required.)
.Snell 85 helmet. (Some loaners will be available. Please call us in advance if you have a problem.)
.At least half a tank of gas. Gas is available at the track, but please be sure you have enough in your car. It wastes significant time to have to tow you car back to the paddock, costing others track time.
.Fire extinguisher. This should be mounted in a holder but can be put in a glove box, if it is easily reached. It cannot be loose in the car!
.Duct tape over all forward facing lights. A simple "X" will do.
.Adequate brake fluid in reservoir. (Brake system should have been flushed within the last 12 months.)
.No visible leaks of oil, gas or coolant. Gas caps must work. (Old oil leaks don't count.)
.Must have expansion tank or reservoir for coolant overflow. This means NO coolant overflow hoses vented to the ground.
.Sound: cars must have a muffler, and be under 103db at 100 feet. (Sound may be checked and any car exceeding the limit may be denied track time!)

Additional for race cars (per SCCA GCR's):

.Snell 90 helmet.
.Fire suit with gloves and shoes.
.Overflow tank for oil.
.Open cars must have a rollover bar and drivers must have arm restraints.

Additional recommendations:

.Watch out for brake fade! If the pedal feels funny, come into the hot pits and let the brakes cool off.
.Watch out for engine oil starvation. Make sure you top off the engine oil.
.Watch out for engine overheating.
