The pylons were scattered and the timers set for the WCLM Autocross on Saturday, Oct 4th at the Seven Feathers' Truck Stop.
About 30 drivers took to the course. The morning sessions were used for practice as the skies opened up and poured rain upon us. But during the lunch break the clouds started to lift and the rain stopped and we started the official timed runs. The Elise/Exige drivers competeted in two classes, with the wins going to Rahul N. on street tires and Rob D. on R-tires. Scott Mc. won the Europa class and Jim L. motored to his win in his topless Seven! TTOD eventually went to Adrian C. in his silver Honda powered S1 Elise barely getting my Randy C. in the powerful Noble.
The Autocross featured two Father-Son battles and both cases the wins went to the younger generation with Jonathan R winning in the Early Esprit class and Eric F. taking the late model Esprit class. David A. topped the "Baby" Elan drivers and the M100 Elan class was capped by Mel B. 2008 WCLM Autocross Results
