{"id":3134,"date":"2017-04-01T08:15:23","date_gmt":"2017-04-01T08:15:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gglotus.org\/blog\/?p=3134"},"modified":"2017-04-01T08:15:23","modified_gmt":"2017-04-01T08:15:23","slug":"autocross-event-1-registration-is-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gglotus.org\/blog\/2017\/04\/01\/autocross-event-1-registration-is-open\/","title":{"rendered":"Autocross Event 1 registration is open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 2017 Golden Gate Lotus Club Autocross season.<\/p>\n<p>Today is April fools day, but this isn&#8217;t a joke \ud83d\ude42 I hope everybody has been working on their cars over the winter and are ready to start racing again!<\/p>\n<p>The 1st event of the season is now open for registration for GGLC members at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.motorsportreg.com\/events\/2017-gglc-autocross-points-event-1-marina-airport-golden-gate-lotus-club-autox-222796\">MotorsportsReg<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Registration is limited to club members for the first week. Non-members will be able to register next week. The entry fee is $65 for GGLC members and $75 for non-members. First time autox&#8217;ers (first time at a GGLC event) are eligible for a $10 discount, so invite your friends along too.<\/p>\n<p>This season we have 8 classes that you can participate in. Please read over the details on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gglotus.org\/ggautox\/ggautox.htm\">club autocross page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For Lotus Elise\/Exige\/Evora drivers, please use the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gglotus.org\/ggautox\/classify.html\">classification tool<\/a> to calculate your index points. For this season, 0-8 points will place you in the Mild class, 9-16 points will place you in the Moderate class, and over 17 or over points will place you in the Extreme class.
