GGLC Honors New Lifetime Member!
March 17, 2006 - Burlingame, CA
The GGLC honored David Anderson by making David only the 5th GGLCer to become a "Lifetime Member".
David joins 4 other Lifetime members that include: GGLC founder, John Ridley; early driving member Wally Sinclair;
Kiyoshi Hamai, for 20+ years of service as the Chapman Report Editor; and Tom Carney for 25 years of service and leadership.
David has been active in the GGLC for over 25 years and has been the GGLC's membership chairman since 1980. During that time
David tirelessly managed the club roster making sure every member was reminded that their membership was about to expire,
printing mailing labels for each month's Chapman Report, publishing the GGLC roster, making weekly visits to the post office
to pick-up club mail and responding to club coorespondence. David is a past President and continues to be an active GGLC member.
The GGLC is pleased to honor David Anderson for his tireless dedication to the GGLC.

GGLC Wins Club Participation Award!
Sept 11, 2005 - Palo Alto, CA
Finally after a number of years of absence the GGLC re-claimed the coveted Club Participation Award at the
Palo Alto British Car Meet. The GGLC members brought 44 Lotus + 1 Noble to the Meet. President Roy stepped forward
and picked-up the big shiny silver tray from Meet chairman Rick Fiebusch. Truly a momentus occasion that was
once an annual event for the GGLC.

2005 WEST COAST LOTUS MEET ANNOUNCED!
January 2, 2005 - Burlingame CA
The 2005 West Coast Lotus Meet was announced by co-chairment Joel Lipkin and Mel Boss. Hosted by the GGLC, in concert
with Evergreen Lotus Car Club, Phoenix Lotus and other west coast Lotus Clubs, the 2005 WCLM will be held at Lake Tahoe on
June 2-5, 2005.
The 2005 WCLM will feature opening registration and dinner on Thursday. Then on June 2nd entrants can choose from a Lake Tahoe tour
or an optional WCLM Lotus Track Day at the Reno-Fernley Raceway. Later that day there will be a casual cocktail and dinner.
On Saturday June 4th, the WCLM will have a Lotus Autocross where entrants can weave through the pylons in search of that last
tenth of a second. The day will be capped off by a private banquet and tour of the National Automotive Museum that features cars
from the Harrah Auto Collection.
Ending the WCLM on Sunday, June 5th will be the WCLM Concours and BBQ/Picnic.
No doubt it will be a very fun Lotus event, set in the scenic vistas of the Lake Tahoe and the high Sierras.
