    GGLC Holiday Dinner

    December 12, 2004

The GGLC held its annual Holiday Dinner at the Macaroni Grill in San Mateo CA.

22 members joined in the frolic, wine, food and door prizes. Out going 2004 GGLC Prez, Faisal, was properly thanked and shown the door and incoming 2005 GGLC Prez, Roy was welcomed as condolances were passed out.

The Elephant Garage Gift exchange was fun and was highlighted by the age old question, "Who's going to end up with the Crossover Pipes?" For years a set of Crossover Pipes from a Twin Cam have gone from member to member, was 2004 to be any different? The suspense was dripping from the ceiling... That ended when Joel opened one of the larger packages and behold "Crossover Pipes"! But, in the theme of Reality Shows, they had gone through an extreme makeover and had been transformed into the most coveted elephant gift of the evening and exchanged hands at least 3 times before being claimed by Hal!
